Why I became a counsellor

I haven’t always been a counsellor; I’ve been a carer, a coach, and so much more.

And like you, I’ve walked my own path throughout many challenges, so I understand how overwhelming life can feel.

I’ve spent nearly a decade working with trauma, attachment struggles, and emotional storms.

Seeing how pain can weigh people down inspired me to do something about it.

I became a counsellor so that I could help people who feel unheard, unseen, and unsupported.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework.

I’m insured with Holistic, and I’m GDPR compliant and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.

I've studied and trained to become a counsellor:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

  • Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills

  • Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

  • Mental Health First Aid

  • Nurturing Attachments Training

This experience, along with my specialist training, means I can support you with the care, understanding, and expertise you deserve.
